This page is “UNDER CONSTRUCTION” at the moment, but here’s where I’d like to show off photos of a huge mural I’ve designed for my local university. The theme involves a 90’s vaporwave feel paired with technology to welcome students into on of Southwestern Oklahoma State University’s Campbell classrooms on the first floor. It’ll involve fun, bright colors including pinks, purples, and blues to pair nostalgia with good energy for anyone who walks into the room. The idea began with my colleague suggesting we create a computer screen border for a corkboard which I expanded on with additional features like pop-ups, a cursor, floating file folders, and a giant floppy disc. Bits of modern technology are intertwined throughout the throwbacks like the book popping out of a social media photo frame I included. I’m beyond excited to take on this project, and stay tuned!
