Special Containment Procedures: SCP-2567 is contained in three parts. SCP-2567-1 is considered to be the highest threat, resulting in the need for five layers of lead walls underneath one layer of padding with a rounded internal room and ceiling. SCP-2567-1 can and will use methods of brute force, manipulation, psychological analysis, and witchcraft to escape. SCP-2567-2 and SCP-2567-3 are individually contained in separate but identical rooms with three layers of lead and one layer of wall padding for safety, neither as high of a threat as SCP-2567-1 and both easily sedated. Each of the three containment chambers are soundproof and have locking mechanisms that cannot be forcefully broken.
Each threat is sedated by a hallucinogenic that forces them to mentally relive their worst fears in a comatose state while locked in rooms on three separate floors. Do take absolute caution and ignore tempting yells, flirtatious remarks, and cries as they will remain unharmed and aim to lure any excuse for an escape. Guards stand watch with 24-hour surveillance to monitor their condition. The hallucinogenic is redistributed by vapor every 6 hours through the air system and into the chambers directly with no need for human contact. If SCP-2567 makes contact with “The Spellbook” (SCP-2566) and “The Black Flame Candle” (SCP-2565), do not hesitate to sound the alarm and run for your lives.
Description: SCP-2567 notes the efforts to contain and study three supernatural beings who terrorized the city of Salem, Massachusetts on more than one occasion, evading death three times. When free, they are known to eat the souls of children to maintain eternal youth and wreak havoc on all living humans within a 100 mile radius. Their abilities include but are not limited to spellcasting, entrancing human beings into dancing until death, summoning children with song, convening with the “Devil” (SCP-666), and using household floor care devices as transportation. The investigation is ongoing and the extent of their power is unknown. It is uncertain if there are more powerful supernatural forces involved.
Attempts at neutralizing SCP-2567 have been made: Experiment 1, 1653, hanged; Experiment 2, 1993, burned alive and disintegrated; Experiment 3, 1993, turned into stone (see full reports). Experiments 2 and 3 were conducted by two teen-aged human beings (one male, one female) and a small supernatural being (female). This team of agents proved to be most successful in retrieving information yet failed at apprehending the beings.
After apprehending some but not all of the supernatural belongings associated with SCP-2567, a black feline attempted to assault the team. The objects have since been moved into a shatter proof case and are undergoing constant surveillance. The feline was one of our agents on the same mission, resulting in a team effort to contain SCP-2567 that failed.
SCP-2567 was apprehended in 2022 after an anonymous tip reported the whereabouts in Salem, Massachusetts noting of their return to the area as a result of a “Black Flame Candle” replica (SCP-2565-1).
